No one likes to fail.
No one likes to mess up, to let people down, or to make mistakes. Instead, we’re designed to aim for perfection. We’re driven to do things right and well and with excellence.
So when we inevitably do fail, we feel a bit disqualified. We assume that our failures are too big to recover from. But is that true? Does a moment of failure equal a lifetime of loss?
2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” In other words, God revels in our weaknesses because He is able to turn them into wins. When we give God our failures, He is able to show His power by bringing us back to our feet and leading us to a new chapter in life.
So don’t feel disqualified when you face failure this week! Instead, allow God to do something amazing through your weakness.
